Wrestling falls to Division II Limestone

MONTGOMERY, Ala. –The Huntingdon wrestling team fell to Limestone College 39-11 on Sunday.
The Saints, who are ranked 25th in Division II, started the match with four straight wins to take an 18-0 lead over the Hawks.
Deon Maxwell (157 pounds) pinned his opponent to give the Hawks six points.
Pierce Erhardt (165) followed Maxwell with an 18-0 technical fall victory to pull the score 18-11.
The Saints closed the match with four more victories.
Huntingdon competes on Saturday in the Gator Boots Dual in Nashville, Tenn. Matches start at 8 a.m.
