Bio

Jack Haury was named Huntingdon College’s Assistant Wrestling Coach and Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach in the spring of 2024, after finishing his final season as a wrestler at Huntingdon College.  Haury initially graduated from Huntingdon College in 2023, and holds two Bachelor’s degrees, the first in Exercise Science and the second in Physical Education.

During his time as a student-athlete, Haury gained coaching experience in wrestling while working a variety of camps & clinics throughout the southeast, as well as assisting with his high school wrestling program (Ola High School – McDonough, GA).  Haury amassed a significant amount of coaching experience in strength & conditioning while interning and assisting as an undergraduate for 4 years at Huntingdon College.  In addition, Haury completed strength & conditioning internships at Michigan State University, Ola High School, and Pike Road High School. Haury is a CSCS certified strength coach through the NSCA, and holds a USAW Level 1 Sports Performance certification as well.

As a wrestler at Huntingdon College, Haury accumulated multiple accolades.  He was the first wrestler to win 100 matches in his career (106), the first wrestler to reach 30 wins in a single season (37), the first wrestler to reach 20 falls in a single season (22), and was a two-time Lower-Midwest Regional Tournament placer (6th in 2024, 8th in 2023).  Haury was also a 4-time Academic All-American, a National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American, and was named the Huntingdon College Male Athlete of the Year in 2024.  Prior to wrestling at Huntingdon College, Haury was a Georgia State Champion in 2019 at Ola High School, finishing his senior season with a record of 63-3.
