MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team tied Covenant College 1-1 in double overtime on Friday.
Freshman Faithe Korponay scored on an assist from sophomore Doren Staley to give Huntingdon a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute of the game.
The Hawks' defense held the Scots from scoring until late in the second half. Covenant tied the game with 3:33 left in regulation to force overtime.
