Hawks Shutout MUW

Montgomery, Ala.-Huntingdon Women's Soccer defeated Mississippi University for Women, 3-0. 

Allison Fisher scored just one minute into the game to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead. Madison Tryon made it 2-0 at 32:50 and scored her second goal of the game just two minutes later.

The Hawks outshot MUW 20-7. Tryon collected 5 shots and 2 goals; Fisher had 4 shots and 1 goal. Taylor Doss had 3 shots while Faithe Korponay collected 2. 

"I'm very proud of our team rising through the challenges we have faced to this point," Head Coach Cliff Jordan said. "We asked for them to step it up and they delivered tonight. I was very excited to get everyone on the pitch tonight and get some much needed minutes for their growth!"

The Hawks are back in action at home on Friday, September 16th, when they take on Millsaps. Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM CST.
