Hawks Conclude Season at Covenant

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga.- Huntingdon Women's soccer (5-10-1 Overall, 3-6 CCS) concluded their season in the first round of the CCS Tournament, losing to the Covenant Scots (8-4-5 Overall, 6-1-2 CCS) by a score of 4-0.

Similar to their October 21st matchup, Covenant came out of the gate fast, scoring their first two goals in the first 20 minutes of the matchup. Senior Madison Tryon attempted two shots on goal in the first half, both of which were saved by Covenant goalie Lucy Sandhoff. Huntingdon goalie Libby Williams saved 4 of Covenant's 11 shots on goal in the half.

The second half was marked by Covenant's aggressive defense, limiting Huntingdon to only one shot. The Scots scored two more times on 14 shots in the 67th and 87th minutes to complete their victory 4-0.

This marks the second year in a row that the Hawks have qualified for the CCS Championship tournament.
