Huntingdon women’s tennis sweeps Judson and LaGrange

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team won 12 singles matches and six doubles matches to blank Judson 9-0 and LaGrange 9-0 on Wednesday.

The wins pushed the Lady Hawks' winning streak to seven straight.

Huntingdon (14-3, 6-1 Great South Athletic Conference) won all 12 singles matches in straight sets, including five matches by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Four of the Lady Hawks' six doubles matches were by scores of 8-0.

Against LaGrange, Taylor Clark (No. 1), Katie Scott (No. 2), Hannah Still (No. 3), Christian Vick (No. 4), Arielle Barraca (No. 5) and Micaela White (No. 6) won in singles. The teams of Still-Barraca (No. 1), Scott-White (No. 2) and Clark-Vick (No. 3) won in doubles.

In the Judson match, Scott (No. 1), Still (No. 2), Vick (No. 3), Barraca (No. 4), White (No. 5) and Ally Tuttle (No. 6) picked up singles wins. The teams of Scott-Still (No. 1), Vick-Barraca (No. 2) and Clark-Tuttle (No. 3) won in doubles.

Huntingdon returns to action on Sunday on the road against Wesleyan and Berry.
