Huntingdon women’s tennis stumbles at Birmingham-Southern

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team took an early lead Saturday but lost to Birmingham-Southern 5-4.

Katie Scott and Micaela White won at No. 2 doubles and Taylor Clark and Farrah Mahan won at No. 3 doubles to give the Lady Hawks (5-1) an early 2-1 lead. But Birmingham-Southern (4-1) won four of the six singles matches.

Clark (No. 3) and Hannah Still (No. 4) picked up singles wins for Huntingdon.

Huntingdon hosts Schreiner on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
