Lady Hawks fall in USA South Tournament

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team fell behind early and lost to Meredith 7-2 in the first round of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday.
Meredith (12-6) won all three doubles matches and won at No. 1 sinlges before clinching the win with a two-set win at No. 2 singles.
Huntingdon (12-6) picked up wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles. Heather Tabor (No. 4) won in three sets, 6-7, 6-4, 10-7 and Caroline McBroom (No. 5) won 6-1, 6-0.
