Lady Hawks lose to Methodist in USA South Tournament semifinals

LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team lost to No. 1 seed Methodist University 9-0 on Friday in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals.
Methodist (15-6) is the defending conference champion and has won eight conference tournament titles in the past 10 years.
Huntingdon closes the season with a 15-6 record. The 15 wins are the most for the Lady Hawks since the 2013 season.
Methodist will face Covenant on Saturday at 2 p.m. (Eastern) for the championship. The Monarchs are ranked 10th in the Atlantic South Region by the ITA.
