Hawks earn second straight 9-0 conference victory

BEREA, Ky.  – The Huntingdon women's tennis team earned its second straight 9-0 conference victory with a win at Berea on Sunday.

The Hawks only dropped two games in winning all three doubles matches before taking all six singles matches in straight sets.

Madeline Creel (No. 1), Lucy Burch (No. 2), Allison Stegall (No. 3), Kennedy Harp (No. 4), Marisa LaJone (No. 5) and Katelyn Morris (No. 6) earned singles victories. Creel and Harp each won 6-0, 6-0. Burch, Stegall, and LaJone each only lost one game in their wins.

In doubles, the team of Alonda Weaver-Meredith Head (No. 2) won 8-0 and the teams of Burch-Harp (No. 1) and Ashley Burke-Emily Fendley (No. 3) each won 8-1.
