Hawks Dominate Tuskegee, 9-0

Montgomery, Ala.-Huntingdon Women's Tennis started their season with a 9-0 win over Division II Tuskegee.

Doubles:

#1 Pair-Allexii Bassette and Madison Creel: 8-3

#2 Pair-Kennedy Harp and Allison Stegall: 8-0

Singles:

#1 Allexii Bassette: 6-3, 6-0

#2 Madeline Creel: 6-0, 6-0

#3 Kennedy Harp: 6-2, 6-2

#4 Allison Stegall: 6-1, 4-1

Tuskegee forfeited #5 and #6 singles as well as #3 doubles. 

"This was a great way to start our season and we are looking forward to building on this win and continuing to improve," Head Coach Justin McQueen said.

The Hawks are back in action on the road against Oglethorpe and Point on Friday, February 25th at the Sportsplex in Valley, Alabama. Matches against Oglethorpe start at 9:00 AM CST and against Point start at 1:00 PM CST.
