Hawks Soar Past The Blazers

JACKSON,Miss.- Huntingdon women's tennis(1-3 overall) traveled to Jackson to take down the Belhaven Blazers(2-15 overall) 6-1 in their first complete conference matchup. See below for the Hawks full doubles and singles results.

Doubles

• Lily Grace and Evey Moore defeated Taji Williams and Ella Hathcock 8-3
• Natalie Tedesco and Katelyn Morris defeated Natalie Goggans and Lillian Williams 8-2

Singles

• Taji Williams defeated Lily Grace 6-1 and 6-2
• Natalie Tedesco defeated Evey Moore 6-1 and 6-4
• Ella Hathcock defeated Lillian Williams 6-3 and 6-2
• Katelyn Morris defeated Kendra Williams 6-3 and 6-1
• Angelina Mazza defeated Natalie Goggans 6-1 in each set

The Hawks look to continue their strong play on April 6th when they host Maryville at home for their second conference matchup. Matches are set to begin at 2:00 PM CT.
