HUNTINGDON VOLLEYBALL SPLITS IN FINAL TWO MATCHES OF HENDRIX FALL CLASSIC

CONWAY, Ark. – The Huntingdon volleyball team closed out the Hendrix Fall Classic with a win over Rust College and a loss to Williams Baptist College on Saturday.

Abby Brown recorded eight kills and four aces and Lauren Rozof finished with five kills, 11 digs and three aces in the 25-15, 25-20, 25-15 win over Rust. Alyssa Eason had 19 assists and 10 digs and Ashlee Walters turned in a team-high 14 digs. Diane Humphreys had a team-high six aces, Melony Motley totaled four kills and two block assists and Abby Carter had two block assists.

Eason recorded 13 assists and eight digs in the 25-11, 25-17, 25-14 loss to Williams Baptist. Walters again led the team in digs with 11. Rozof had five digs and three kills. Carter turned in a team-high five kills, followed by Brown with four kills and Samantha Morris with three kills.

Huntingdon (3-10) travels to Millsaps on Tuesday before returning to Roland Arena to play Pensacola Christian in the Hawks' first home match of the season on Friday.
