Lady Hawks volleyball falls twice in Huntingdon Jubilee

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon volleyball team lost two close matches during the first day of the Huntingdon College Jubilee on Friday.

The Lady Hawks fell to LaGrange 25-23, 25-22, 25-20 and lost to Agnes Scott 25-13, 25-13, 17-25, 22-25, 13-15. Kali Martin finished the day with 26 kills and 24 digs for Huntingdon (0-2) and Lexi Rangel had 47 assists on the day.

Against LaGrange (2-0), Martin had 11 kills and 16 digs and Ally Brislinger added eight kills. Rangel had 19 assists, Rachel Dunlay finished with 13 assists, seven kills and five digs and Lauren Condon recorded 24 digs.

In the Agnes Scott match, Martin totaled 15 kills and eight digs, Dunlay had 11 kills, 11 assists and seven digs and Rangel finished with 28 assists. Condon and Bobie Wilson each added 19 digs.

Huntingdon returns to action in Roland Arena on Saturday in the final day of the tournament. The Lady Hawks play Mississippi College at 10 a.m. and Birmingham-Southern at 6 p.m.
