Huntingdon volleyball loses two conference matches at Ferrum

FERRUM, Va. – The Huntingdon volleyball team fell to Ferrum and Averett in a pair of USA South Athletic Conference matches on Saturday.

The Lady Hawks fell to Ferrum 25-19, 25-19, 26-24 and lost to Averett 25-12, 25-21, 25-13.

Kali Martin recorded 18 kills for Huntingdon (4-19, 0-10 USA South) in the two matches and Rachel Dunlay had 21 assists.

Against Ferrum (3-17, 2-12 USA South), Martin had 10 kills and six digs and Dunlay had seven kills and 10 assists. Jello Weatherspoon had 11 assists and Kalen Morgan finished with six digs.

In the match with Averett (19-8, 13-2 USA South), Martin totaled eight kills and seven digs. Dunlay recorded 11 assists and Lauren Condon finished with 16 digs.

Huntingdon plays at Faulkner University on Monday at 7 p.m.
