Volleyball loses two conference matches

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Huntingdon volleyball team lost to Greensboro in three games and Mary Baldwin in five games on Saturday.

In the 25-20, 25-21, 25-22 loss to Greensboro (16-12, 8-8 USA South), Rachel Dunlay had 10 kills and 10 assists for Huntingdon and Lexi Rangel had 13 assists and seven digs. Bria Rochelle recorded seven kills, six digs and three aces. Lauren Condon finished with 16 digs, Bobie Wilson added nine digs and Storm McWhorter finished with seven digs.

In the 25-13, 25-18, 27-29, 26-28, 11-15 loss to Mary Baldwin (1-26, 1-15 USA South), Dunlay totaled 10 kills, 22 assists and five aces, Rochelle added 11 kills, three blocks and seven digs and Rangel finished with 19 assists and 11 digs. Brooke Garrison recorded 10 kills, Kalen Morgan had eight kills and four blocks and Brittany Frost had seven kills. Condon finished with 25 digs, McWhorter had 10 digs and Wilson had seven digs and five aces.

Huntingdon (6-22, 0-12 USA South) plays at Piedmont on Sunday. The Lady Hawks play Piedmont at 11 a.m. and Wesleyan at 1 p.m.
