Volleyball closes out season against Maryville and Covenant

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon volleyball team closed out its season on Saturday with a pair of losses to the top two teams in the South Division of the USA South Athletic Conference.

The Lady Hawks fell to Maryville 25-15, 25-13, 25-18 and lost to Covenant 25-19, 26-24, 25-22. Maryville (23-8, 16-0 USA South) is the No. 1 team in the South Division and Covenant (24-9, 12-4 USA South) was the South Division runner-up.

Against Maryville, Kalen Morgan had six kills and Brooke Garrison and Bria Rochelle each had five kills for Huntingdon (7-26, 0-16 USA South). Lexi Rangel and Rachel Dunlay each totaled seven assists and three aces. Lauren Condon recorded 10 digs and Bobie Wilson added eight digs.

Against Covenant, Dunlay totaled seven kills, seven assists and five digs, Garrison had five kills and Morgan had five kills and seven digs. Rangel finished with nine assists and 15 digs and Condon had 11 digs.
