Hawks fall at Pensacola Christian

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Huntingdon volleyball team lost to Southern University and Pensacola Christian on Thursday night.

The Hawks fell to Southern 25-21, 25-20, 25-15 and Pensacola Christian 25-23, 25-11, 25-14.

Against Southern, Bria Rochelle had 14 kills, Cora Murchison had 20 assists and Lauren Condon finished with 25 digs for Huntingdon (3-7).

In the Pensacola Christian match, Kalen Morgan totaled nine kills, Kaitlyn Carter recorded 18 assists and Condon had 15 digs. Lexi Rangel and Rochelle each added 10 digs.

Huntingdon returns to action at Covenant for a pair of USA South Athletic Conference matches on Saturday. The Hawks play Covenant at 9 a.m. and Maryville at 1 p.m.
