Hawks Open CCS Tournament Play At Belhaven

ATLANTA, Ga. (November 8, 2024) - The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has released the official seedings and bracket for the 2024 CCS Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament, which will take place from November 12 to November 16. This marks the third year of the tournament, and matches will be hosted by the highest seed in each game.

 The tournament will begin on Tuesday, November 12, with the No. 3 seed Covenant (18-12; 12-4 CCS) facing the No. 6 seed Piedmont in the opening match. Following that, the No. 4 seed Belhaven (12-15; 10-6 CCS) will meet the No. 5 seed Huntingdon (13-19; 9-7 CCS). The top two seeds, Asbury (No. 1) and Maryville (No. 2), will receive a bye through the first round and will enter the competition in the semifinals.

 Semifinal action will take place on Friday, November 15, with the No. 2 seed Maryville (21-8; 13-3 CCS) opening the round against the winner of the first match at 3:30 p.m. The second semifinal will feature No. 1 seed Asbury (22-6; 16-1 CCS) facing the winner of the second match at 6:00 p.m.

 The two semifinal winners will advance to the championship match on Saturday, November 16, where they will compete for the tournament title.
