Hawks run in JSU Foothills Invite
OXFORD, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's and women's cross country teams competed in the JSU Foothills Invite on Saturday.
The Huntingdon men placed 15th in a 20-team division with a score of 408 points and the women were 18th in a 21-team division with a score of 539 points.
The race featured a division for Division I teams and a second for Division II, Division III, NAIA and junior college programs. In addition to Huntingdon, Division III programs Emory, Piedmont, Birmingham-Southern, Millsaps and Rust competed in both races. Division III Mississippi University for Women competed in the women's race, but not the men's race.
Notable: Division III Emory won both the men's and women's race. The men won with a score of 15 points and the women won with a score of 19 points.
