MONTGOMERY, Ala.- In the Hawks final game before the Christmas holiday, the senior duo of Kinstin Davis and Briana McGruder guided Huntingdon's offense as they pulled out a 67-60 victory over MUW, completing their season-sweep of the Owls. Davis provided 21 points along with six rebounds, while McGruder patrolled the paint, recording her second double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds. McGruder also blocked four MUW shots.

BATESVILLE, Ark.- Kicking off a three game road stretch, Huntingdon men's basketball defeated the Scots of Lyon College(4-5 overall, 2-1 SLIAC) 99-94 in an overtime thriller to advance to 8-0 on the season. Sophomore guard BJ Brown led the way for the Hawks, totaling 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists before fouling-out in the overtime period.
