FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A total of 119 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Friday. The student-athletes, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,441 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon College Director of Athletics Eric Levanda announced the hiring of Courtney Harville as the athletic department’s Director of Operations on Thursday.

Men's golfer Drew Mathers and women's basketball player T.I. Duncan were honored as the Huntingdon Male Student-Athlete of the Year and Female Student-Athlete of the Year during Monday night's Awards Ceremony.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Four Huntingdon volleyball players were recognized with the release of the USA South All-Conference awards on Thursday. Amy Tyma was named first-team All-Conference and first-team West Division, Alexis Creasman was named first-team West Division and Kaitlyn Carter and Addison Genard were each named second-team West Division.

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon volleyball team closed its season with a 3-0 loss to Maryville on Tuesday night in the quarterfinals of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament. The Hawks, the No. 2 seed in the West Division, fell 25-16, 25-21, 25-18. This was the third consecutive season Huntingdon has reached the conference tournament and Huntingdon’s second straight appearance in the conference quarterfinals.

MARYVILLE, Tenn. – The Huntingdon volleyball team fell to Maryville and Piedmont in a conference tri-match on Friday. The Hawks lost to Maryville 25-21, 25-23, 19-25, 22-25, 13-15 and fell to Piedmont 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon College will induct six new members into its Athletic Hall of Fame this weekend. The ceremony will be held in Ligon Chapel at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The six inductees represent four sports and two different decades of Huntingdon athletics. This year’s inductees are Keith Anthony (football, Class of 2013), Alyssa Eason (volleyball, Class of 2012), Bobby Eskew (baseball, Class of 1969), Mike Jones, Aleah Payne (softball, Class of 2012) and Abby Carter Stanton (volleyball, Class of 2012).

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon volleyball team dominated LaGrange in a 3-0 win on Wednesday night to remain at the top of the USA South West Division standings. The Hawks beat the Panthers 25-11, 25-18, 25-18 on Senior Night.

The Huntingdon volleyball team swept Covenant and Agnes Scott in a conference tri-match on Saturday. With a 20-9 record, this is the first time the Hawks have reached 20 wins since 2005.

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon volleyball team swept its fourth conference tri-match of the season on Saturday with a pair of 3-0 wins against Covenant and Agnes Scott. The Hawks opened the day with a 25-21, 25-20, 25-20 win over Covenant and ended the day with a 25-10, 25-15, 25-17 win over Agnes Scott.

PENSACOLA, Fla.  – The Huntingdon volleyball team beat Pensacola Christian in four games on Thursday. The Hawks won 25-21, 25-7, 22-25, 25-20 to earn their 18th win of the season.

BREVARD, N.C.  – The Huntingdon volleyball team swept Brevard College and Berea College in a conference tri-match on Saturday. Huntingdon beat Brevard 25-22, 26-24, 22-25, 25-18 and downed Berea 25-12, 25-8, 21-25, 25-19.

Hawks split tri-match but remain on top in West Division of USA South

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon volleyball team earned a split in a conference tri-match with Maryville and Piedmont on Saturday at Roland Arena. The Hawks went to five games with both teams, falling to Maryville 25-21, 19-25, 16-25, 25-19, 16-14 and beating Piedmont 25-21, 23-25, 24-26, 25-22, 15-2.
