Women’s tennis receives ITA academic honors

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women’s tennis team was recognized by the ITA on Tuesday with the release of the All-Academic teams and Scholar-Athletes.
139 Hawks earn USA South Academic All-Conference honors

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – More than 130 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Monday. A total of 139 Hawks, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,446 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon women’s tennis team opened the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament with a 7-2 win over Meredith on Friday. Huntingdon will face Methodist in the semifinals on Saturday at 10 a.m. (Eastern). In their fifth season in the USA South, this is the third time the Lady Hawks have advanced to the conference tournament semifinals.
Waddell leads All-Conference tennis selections for Huntingdon

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Three Huntingdon women’s tennis players and one men’s tennis player were recognized with the release of the USA South Athletic Conference All-Conference Awards on Thursday. Junior Josie Waddell was named first-team All-Conference and first-team All-West Division and teammates Zoya Robinson and Heather Tabor were both named second-team All-West Division. On the men’s side, sophomore Adam Self was named honorable mention West Division.
