MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon golfer Addison Lambeth qualified for the US Mid-Amateur Championship on Monday with runner-up finish in the US Mid-Amateur Championship sectional qualifier.

BLAINE, Minn. – Former Huntingdon golfer Joe Durant sank a 10-foot eagle putt on the first hole of a playoff to win the PGA Tour Champions' 3M Championship on Sunday. Durant shot a 9-under-par 63 in the final round at TPC Twins Cities to force the first 3M playoff since 1998. Durant and Miguel Angel were each tied at 19-under 197 entering the playoff.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The USA South Athletic Conference presented its most prestigious award on Friday with the announcement of the Don Scalf Award winners. Huntingdon junior golfer Addison Lambeth was named the male Student-Athlete of the Year and Maryville senior basketball player Mackenzie Puckett was named the female Student-Athlete of the Year.

DUBLIN, Ohio – Huntingdon junior golfer Addison Lambeth was named the winner of the Division III Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award on Thursday.

Huntingdon placed second in the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships for the Hawks' best finish during the NCAA era. Junior Addison Lambeth (second from right) tied for second individually and earned first-team All-American honors.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Huntingdon men's golf team turned in its best finish of the NCAA era with a second-place performance in the Division III Men's Golf Championships on Friday. The Hawks shot 307 in the final round and 1204 for the tournament. Huntingdon finished six strokes out of first. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps captured the national title with a four-round total of 1198.

Freshman Stephen Shephard turned in the only under-par round in the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships on Thursday with a 2-under 70.
Hawks tied for 4th entering final round of NCAA Tournament

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Huntingdon men's golf team moved into a tie for fourth on Thursday in the third round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships. The Hawks turned in their best round of the tournament with a 9-over-par 297 on Thursday at Midvale Country Club. Huntingdon, which was 15 strokes off the lead after two rounds, is nine strokes off the lead entering Friday's final round. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps shot a 15-over 303 in the third round but maintained its lead with a three-round score of 888. Otterbein is second at 895, Methodist is third at 896 and Huntingdon and Wittenberg are tied for fourth at 897.

Junior Will Thrash shot an even-par 72 in the second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships on Wednesday. Thrash and teammate Addison Lambeth are three-strokes off the lead and tied for ninth at 3-over 146.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Huntingdon men's golf team climbed one spot to fifth place in the second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships on Wednesday. Huntingdon shot a 12-over-par 300 in the second round at Midvale Country Club. The Hawks shot a 16-over 300 at Mendon Golf Club in the first round on Tuesday and have a 28-over 600 entering Thursday's third round.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Huntingdon men's golf team shot a 16-over-par 300 in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships on Tuesday. Entering Wednesday's second round, the Hawks are in sixth in the 41-team field. Huntingdon is 14 strokes off the lead, but just three strokes out of second place. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps leads the field with a 2-over 286. St. Thomas (Minn.) is second with a 13-over 297.
